Bhubaneswar emerged overall champions with 335 points in the 55th State Swimming Championship, which concluded here at OCA Club Swimming Complex, Barabati Stadium today. Sambalpur finished runners-up with 193 points.
Sayantan Sattwik of East Coast Railway was the most successful among senior men, winning five titles _ 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 200m individual medley relay. Bhubaneswar`s Rounde Tudu bagged a double in senior women`s category, winning titles in the 50m and 100m freestyle events. State Sports Department Secretary Saswat Mishra handed over the trophies in the presence of host Odisha Olympic Association secretary Asirbad Behera.
